In my last post I was struggling with how to “practice what I preach”…”POWER OF POSITIVITY…”
My intention of exposing such vulnerability was to share the struggle with feeding the positive energy and not giving negative energy power. Given simultaneous situations, one played out positive while the other did not. I felt defeated. I felt like a failure. I chose to feed those feelings instead of giving the positive energy power… life lesson learned and my accomplishment of becoming an instructor.
Perhaps the more profound or deeper lesson is that!…to choose to feed the positive side, giving it power when faced with the Blessing of contrast.
With the help of meditation and good friends, I recovered/overcame my feelings of devistation and failure. I acknowledged the deeper lesson giving me the power to push on…
Feeding negative energy is exhausting. I have my girls to consider. I had an idea of what “success looked like” … Success, in regards to, taking scary steps to ensure our non-traditional lifestyle would be able to sustain our journey. I wasn’t living up to that. I need to rest, reinvent, and resurrect.
After talking with a very dear friend, I decided to stay at base camp for the Winter. I contacted a nurse friend, she owns a home health care company. She hired me. This position will give me piece of mind, provide income to shoulder our financial burden, and clarity to reinvent my idea of what success looks like. Changing my high expectations.
Looking forward to a fresh start in Spring…
