… regrouping and touching base…

The girls and I made it back to base camp without any problems. I decided to come directly back, to Pa, aborting my initial plan of meandering back. We’ve been in Pennsylvania for about 2 weeks, giving me the opportunity to work on our next step from familiar ground. Just touching base with our followers.

I’ve observed more butterflies than usual since our arrival back “home”.

To the Native American’s the butterfly is a symbol of change, joy, and color.

I’m currently working on a few things to generate income and allow us continue on our path. I’m realising that our nomad life, might not look like others living this lifestyle. We’re still working on it and developing our own twist. So far, it looks like… getting a Wilderness gig, traveling to work it, experiencing the beauty/nature that area has, coming back to Pa to “regroup”…

I’m more greatful than words can express to one of my dearest friends. She has provided “Base Camp” for the girls and I. We would not have been able to change our lifestyle without her. 💜

The girls and I have been focusing on training and our next phase of transformation.

I will be traveling to Maine, the end of September. It is the certification to teach Wilderness First Responder for the Wilderness Medical Associates. The girls will stay with “Auntie” and I’ll miss them deeply. Until then we will be catching up with friends, working, and facing the challenge of change, together, in Pa.

Had to share…the girls after a long travel from Michigan to Pennsylvania. This is our first night back at base camp. 💜💜🐾
